Remus, Tonks and Teddy

After reading the 7th Harry Potter book I felt compelled to draw Tonks and Remus with Teddy to actually see the family together.

This was originally drawn in pencil, scanned into the computer without keeping the original line work and just worked on top of using soft brushes in Photoshop. This is the first time that I have tried to render skin tones, etc in a completly 3D way without the line work to help in the defination of noses and things. I wanted to create a soft and warm feel to the portrait, whether I managed that or not you can decide.

I love the way that Tonk's face and hair turned out, even if she does look a little sun kissed, but Remus seems to sort of glow next to her because his skin tone is so light.. Though he is always described to be really pale in the books!
